Why are merino socks better than regular hiking socks?

Merino wool actively regulates temperature, absorbs moisture without feeling wet and naturally inhibits odor-causing bacteria. Unlike synthetics, merino feels dry even after hours of wear and doesn't itch.

Can I machine wash merino socks?

Yes – our merino socks are machine washable at 30°C gentle cycle. Do not tumble dry; instead, lay flat to dry. No fabric softener, as it damages wool fibers.

How often do merino socks need to be washed?

Thanks to their odor-inhibiting properties, merino socks can be washed much less frequently than synthetic socks. On day hikes, they can often be worn 2–3 times. On multi-day trips, they're ready to wear again after airing and drying.
